Many peoples including me, like Google Chrome because of it’s minimalistic User Interface. The “New Tab page” of Google Chrome displays the thumbnails of your most visited websites and the web-apps you have installed. If you are like me who want the “New Tab page” clean and simple then this article is for you. Today I will show you how to use a Blank Page as A New Tab Page In Google Chrome Browser.
In the above screenshot you can see the default “New Tab Page” of Google Chrome Browser, which is actually very useful because it gives you direct access to your most visited websites and many people likes this feature. But I personally like my browser as clean as possible. So a blank Page is more convenient to me. If you are also like me then just follow these simple steps to set A Blank Page As A “New Tab Page” In Chrome.
First of all go to the chrome web store and install the “Empty New Tab Page” extension.
After installing the extension, whenever you will open a new tab, you will see a blank page similar to the above screenshot. Well, basically that’s it. It is as simple as that and whenever you want to get your old look back, just disable or remove the extension.
